Leonor Leandro

Leonor F Leandro is an Associate Professor of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Iowa State University. Her lab focuses on the biology and epidemiology of fungal diseases of soybean. Their primary research interests are on soilborne fungi in the genus Fusarium, particularly F. virguliforme, the causal agent of soybean sudden death syndrome (SDS). They also conduct research on other Fusarium species causing soybean root rot.
